Citrix has released the early adopter release for the 10.7.0 version of XenMobile Apps & MDX Toolkit on iOS.
This release contains both public app store and enterprise versions and include the following:
-
Support for iOS 11. Secure Hub 10.7 supports devices running a beta version of iOS 11. Same – day support for iOS 11.
-
XenMobile Apps 10.7 support iOS 11. For details about testing and preparing for iOS, see XenMobile supported device operating systems.
-
iOS 8. Support for iOS 8 devices ends when support for iOS 11 begins.
-
iOS 9. Support ends for iOS 9 devices running XenMobile Apps for approximately six weeks following the start of support for iOS 11. After that, Citrix no longer tests compatibility with iOS 9.
-
iOS 9 in MDM mode. Support continues for iOS 9 devices in MDM mode.
-
SHA – 1 certificates. Secure Hub no longer supports SHA – 1 certificates on devices running iOS 11. With iOS 11, Secure Hub fails to establish a secure connection with servers that are signed with SHA – 1 signatures. The app quits after displaying a connection error message: You may need to contact your administrator to verify sign – on credentials.
To avoid issues, be sure to do the following:
- Users must update to Secure Hub 10.6.20 or later before upgrading their devices to iOS 11.
- Users must update to XenMobile Apps 10.7 before upgrading their devices to iOS 11.
- Enterprise users must update to XenMobile Apps 10.7 or rewrap all of their apps with the MDX Toolkit 10.7 before upgrading their devices to iOS 11.
- Update your XenMobile server certificate to a secure certificate if the current certificate is signed with a weak signature. For steps, see Certificates and authentication in the XenMobile documentation (http://docs.citrix.com/en-us/xenmobile/server/authentication.html).
