Citrix has released ShareFile for iOS Apps 5.5.0 (iPhone and iPad) for iOS 9+ devices
What’s new?
- Updated MDX SDK 10.6
- Additional quality improvements. Please click here for the list of all the improvements included in this release (including issues identified and resolved in testing)
Important Notes:
- This release supports iOS 9 and iOS 10 devices.
- After this release, Citrix will no longer release a tablet specific version of the app. Instead, Citrix will release and support the universal build.
- It is recommended that customers install the universal app and they will be able migrate their data from tablet to universal app and use the universal app going forward.
- For ShareFile for XenMobile for Public app store consumers, v5.5.0 is also now available in the app store. The corresponding MDX file has been updated and is available here (Please ensure to login to access and download the .mdx file).
- MDM packages for this release are available here (Please ensure to login with your Citrite credentials to access and download the packages). Please note that these packages are signed with an ad hoc provisioning profile which requires customers to resign with their own profiles. This is in accordance with Apple policy.
- ShareFile for iOS apps v5.5.0 for use with Microsoft Intune and MobileIron are also available for download from the app store
Who is concerned?
Store App is targeted to both Enterprise and SMB customers while the MDX/MDM releases are targeted to Enterprise customers only.
