Objective
This post describes how to test XenMobile Server database connectivity.
Instructions
Complete the following steps to test XenMobile Server database connectivity:
Note: Test to be done on a Windows Machine and it should be on the same domain where the database is hosted.
- Create a file with extension “.udl “. For example: DBtest.udl
- Open the DBtest.udl file.
- Enter Server IP / FQDN.
- Click on Refresh.
- Enter the login information. Either use Windows NT Integrated Security or use a specific username and password.
- Choose the database which you would like to check connectivity for.
- Click on Test connection.
- If the details entered are correct it displays the connection is succeeded. If the connection fails the error message displayed would be self explanatory to fix it.
