Citrix has release version 1.1 of ShareFile for Gmail.
Here after some more details:
How to get it:
- New users can get ShareFile for Gmail Chrome App from the Chrome Store athttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sharefile-for-gmail/nmckiofeplfldjpjiaheipdojpgiimdf.
- Users who already have ShareFile for Gmail will receive this update soon.
What’s New:
Settings Updates
We have added more options for link expiration when requesting and sharing files. Users can now choose between the following options for link expiration: one day, three days, one week, one month, one year and never. The default link expiration is 6 months to match the file retention policy of the File Box. Please note that account admin-set default settings are not currently available for ShareFile for Gmail.
More security settings have also been added to allow users to choose between whether someone has full access (preview and download) to a file or view-only access. Please note that not all pricing plans come with the view-only option.
Both of these new settings can be set as defaults or on a per-message basis.
Folder Tree UI update
When browsing for files in ShareFile, you will see folders first and then files. Folders and files will be then listed alphabetically within their sections.
The following items have been resolved:
- Unable to login to ShareFile when using an incognito window.
- Updated sharing and request options.
- Miscellaneous UI bugs
